INGREDENT
- 4 medium russet potatoes, halved lengthwise
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Cooking spray or extra butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper. - Prepare Parmesan Mixture:
In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. - Coat the Dish:
Pour the melted butter evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the butter in an even layer. - Add Potatoes:
Place the potato halves cut-side down into the cheese and butter mixture. Press them down slightly so they get coated well. - Bake:
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the bottoms are golden and crispy. - Cool & Serve:
Let cool for a few minutes, then carefully lift the potatoes out using a spatula. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Serving Tip: Great as a side dish with grilled meats, or serve with sour cream or ranch dip.
