Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes (cut in halves lengthwise)
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by pouring the melted butter into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  3. Mix Parmesan and seasonings in a small bowl: combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the butter in the baking dish.
  5. Place the potato halves cut side down into the dish, pressing them gently into the cheese mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the Parmesan crust is golden and crispy.
  7. Let them rest for 5 minutes, then carefully remove with a spatula to keep the cheesy crust intact.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot!
