Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes (cut in halves lengthwise)
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by pouring the melted butter into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Mix Parmesan and seasonings in a small bowl: combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the butter in the baking dish.
- Place the potato halves cut side down into the dish, pressing them gently into the cheese mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the Parmesan crust is golden and crispy.
- Let them rest for 5 minutes, then carefully remove with a spatula to keep the cheesy crust intact.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot!
