Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes (russet or Yukon gold work great), halved
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish or sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare Cheese Mixture:
In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add Butter & Cheese:
Pour the melted butter into the baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the cheese mixture over the melted butter.
  4. Add Potatoes:
Place the potato halves cut-side down onto the cheese-butter mixture. Press gently to help the cheese stick.
  5. Bake:
Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the Parmesan has formed a golden, crispy crust.
  6. Cool Slightly & Serve:
Let them cool for a few minutes before using a spatula to carefully lift them from the dish. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Tip: These make a perfect side dish for grilled chicken, steak, or roasted veggies.
