- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

- Pan-Fry the Cod: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the Lemon Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Liquid Ingredients: Pour in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and broth. Simmer for 1-2 minutes to slightly reduce the sauce.
