PEC Introduction

It is the job of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) to make rules for engineering schooling and the engineering industry in Pakistan. It was set up by the PEC Act 1976 in 1976. The Council also keeps track of engineers and professional engineers and gives engineering firms in Pakistan permits to work as consultants and build or run projects.

If you are an engineer in Pakistan, the Pakistan Engineering Council speaks for you and helps the federal and state governments. It also works for the government as a think tank and tries to set science standards for new tech products and services.
