Ingredients
- 3 overripe bananas
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat your oven to 175°F (80°C) or use a food dehydrator. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash & Mix: In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Spread & Dry: Spread the banana mixture evenly on the parchment paper, about ¼-inch thick.
- Slow Bake or Dehydrate:
- Oven method: Bake for 3-4 hours or until the banana sheet is firm and no longer sticky.
- Dehydrator method: Dry at 135°F (57°C) for 6-8 hours until fully dried but slightly chewy.
- Cut & Enjoy: Once cooled, cut into strips or bite-sized pieces. Store in an airtight container.
