Ingredients

  • 8 oz white chocolate, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • ½ tsp orange extract
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling) or melted white chocolate for coating

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over low heat until just simmering.
  2. Remove from heat and pour over the chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
  3. Add the orange zest, orange extract, and salt, stirring until fully combined.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.
  5. Using a spoon or melon baller, scoop small portions and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll the truffles in powdered sugar or dip them in melted white chocolate for a smooth coating.
