Orange Dreamsicle Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3 oz) orange Jell-O
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Dissolve Jell-O
    In a medium bowl, dissolve the orange Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until fully dissolved, then add 1/2 cup cold water. Let it chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes (do not let it fully set).
  2. Prepare Pudding
    In a separate bowl, whisk the vanilla pudding mix with 1 cup cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Combine Ingredients
    Fold the chilled (but not fully set) Jell-O into the pudding mixture. Stir in the whipped topping until well combined and creamy.
  4. Add Fruit
    Gently fold in the mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple.
  5. Add Marshmallows (Optional)
    If using mini marshmallows, stir them in at this point.
  6. Chill and Serve
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set. Serve chilled and enjoy!
