Orange Cake Moist Without Milk or Flour, It’s Perfect

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 medium oranges (zest and juice)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups almond flour (finely ground almonds)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Oranges
Wash the oranges thoroughly. Zest both oranges and set the zest aside. Squeeze out the juice, ensuring you have about 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice.
  3. Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the orange juice, zest, and vanilla extract (if using), and mix well.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Create the Batter
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  6. Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Garnish with powdered sugar or a drizzle of orange glaze, if desired.
