INGREDIENTS
- 1 bulb garlic (about 10 cloves), peeled
- 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
- 1 small red or yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced (and zest if desired)
- ½ cup raw honey (preferably local and unprocessed)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Peel the garlic cloves.
- Peel and chop the ginger.
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Juice the lemon and zest the peel (optional).
- Blend:
- Add garlic, ginger, onion, lemon juice, and lemon zest (if using) to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth. If needed, add a small spoonful of water to help it blend.
- Mix with Honey:
- Transfer the blended mixture into a bowl.
- Stir in the raw honey until well combined.
- Store:
- Pour the mixture into a clean glass jar with a tight lid.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
🕐 Dosage:
Take 1 teaspoon daily on an empty stomach for general wellness. You can also mix it into warm water or tea.
