Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm water (add more if needed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for cooking)
Instructions
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Gradually stir in warm water and olive oil until a soft dough forms. If it’s too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time.
- Knead: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Divide and Rest: Divide dough into 6 equal balls. Let them rest covered with a damp cloth for 10–15 minutes.
- Roll Out: Roll each ball into a round flatbread, about ¼-inch thick.
- Cook: Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly oil the surface. Cook each flatbread for about 2–3 minutes per side or until golden spots appear and the bread puffs slightly.
- Serve: Serve warm with butter, dips, soups, or as a sandwich wrap!
