No-Knead Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Add the warm water and stir until the mixture forms a shaggy dough. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a towel and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours, allowing the dough to rise and bubbles to form.

After the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven or heavy pot in the oven to heat for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball. Let it rest while the pot heats.

Carefully remove the hot pot from the oven, place the dough inside, and cover it with a lid. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on. Then, remove the lid and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crusty.

Once baked, remove the bread from the pot and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing. Enjoy!
