No-Bake Banana Split Cake recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even crust. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
  2. Cream Cheese Layer:
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread this layer evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Fruit Layers:
    • Spread the well-drained crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer.
    • Add a layer of banana slices on top of the pineapple.
  4. Top It Off:
Spread the whipped topping evenly over the bananas.
  5. Garnish:
Sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using) and add maraschino cherries on top. Drizzle with chocolate syrup for an extra treat.
  6. Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to meld and dessert to set.
