Apple will start its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on June 5.
Mark Gurman, the Chief Correspondent for Apple News at Bloomberg, has said that we can expect to see the company’s first AR/VR headset and software changes for its smartphones, tablets, computers, and smartwatches during the event.
Gurman also said that there would be “several new Macs,” which suggests that Apple will show off more than just the 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chipset.
What he said is as follows:
Next week, I think there will be three main points of interest: 1) a few new Macs, 2) the augmented reality glasses, and 3) the new operating systems. With all of the new hardware and software, I think the speech will be one of the longest in Apple’s history and will easily go over two hours.
Gurman says that Apple wants to show off Macs that run on the M3 technology later this year. At the next event, everyone will be talking about the new MacBook Air with the M2 chip.

Apple could also release a new Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra chip, which would give it the best CPU speed ever. Even though it’s not likely that there will be an iMac all-in-one desktop, there could be a new Mac Studio model with the M2 chip.
As usual, the show will be live-streamed on Apple’s website, so anyone can watch it.
