Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (organic if possible)
  • 1–2 cloves of fresh garlic (crushed or finely minced)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 cup warm water (not boiling)

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the juice from the lemon into a cup.
  2. Add the crushed garlic and grated ginger (if using).
  3. Stir in the raw honey.
  4. Pour in the warm water and mix well.
  5. Let it steep for 5–10 minutes.
  6. Drink slowly while still warm.
