Ingredients
- 5 lemons (preferably organic)
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 small piece of ginger (about 1 inch)
- 4 cups (1 liter) of water
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey (optional, for taste)
Instructions
- Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them into slices. Keep the peel on.
- Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
- Peel and grate the ginger.
- In a pot, bring the water to a gentle boil. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Add the lemon slices, garlic, and ginger to the warm water. Let it steep for 30–60 minutes.
- Strain the mixture and add apple cider vinegar and honey (if using). Stir well.
- Pour into a glass jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator.
- Drink 1/2 cup on an empty stomach in the morning and another 1/2 cup before dinner.
