Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix (your favorite brand)
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup warm water
- 2 cups Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting, chocolate ganache for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan or 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, and warm water. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Gently fold in the Nestle Toll House chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few melted chocolate spots are okay!).
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for about 15 minutes. Then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate ganache for an extra decadent touch.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy this chocolate lover’s dream!
