Moist Chocolate Loaf Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • For the Cake:
    • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, brown sugar, buttermilk, oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
