Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 mini slider buns
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare Patties: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly distributed. Form the mixture into 12 small patties, about the size of the mini buns.
- Cook Patties: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are fully cooked through (165°F internal temperature). Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
- Assemble Mini Pizza Burgers: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet. Top each with a cooked patty, then spoon a little marinara sauce over each patty. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, add desired pizza toppings like pepperoni or mushrooms, and finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
- Melt the Cheese: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil or parsley for garnish. Place the top halves of the buns on each mini burger and serve immediately. Enjoy your mini pizza burgers!
