Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 packet pizza seasoning (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 slider buns (or mini burger buns)
- 8 pepperoni slices (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Prepare the burger patties: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, pizza seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 8 small burger patties, about the size of the mini buns.
- Cook the patties: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Cook the burger patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
- Assemble the burgers: Place the slider buns on the baking sheet, cut side up. Spoon a little marinara sauce on each bun base. Then, place a cooked burger patty on top of each bun.
- Add cheese and toppings: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each patty. Add a pepperoni slice (if using), and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- Bake: Place the assembled mini pizza burgers in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
