Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni or chopped regular pepperoni (optional)
- Slider buns or small dinner rolls
- Olive oil or butter (for toasting buns)
- Extra mozzarella cheese and sauce for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Make burger patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Shape into small, slider-sized patties.
- Cook the patties: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Add pizza flavor: Spoon about 1 tbsp of pizza sauce over each patty and top with shredded mozzarella and pepperoni. Cover the pan and let the cheese melt.
- Toast the buns: Lightly butter or oil the slider buns and toast them in a pan or oven until golden.
- Assemble: Place each pizza burger on a toasted bun. Add more sauce and cheese if desired.
- Serve hot with a side of fries or salad!
