Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (plus a little more if needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the self-rising flour and heavy cream in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. If the dough feels too dry, add a tablespoon of cream at a time until just combined — don’t overmix.
- Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and gently pat it to about 1-inch thickness.
- Cut out biscuits using a round cutter or a glass. Place them close together on the prepared baking sheet for softer sides or spaced apart for crispier edges.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- Brush (optional) with melted butter right after baking for extra flavor.
- Serve warm and enjoy their tender, buttery goodness!
