Meatloaf Recipe

INGREDENT

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • ⅓ cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the mixture into a lightly greased 9×5 inch loaf pan or form into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  4. In a separate small bowl, mix together brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until the meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
