INGREDENT
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- ⅓ cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Place the mixture into a lightly greased 9×5 inch loaf pan or form into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
