A light and invigorating drink combining the citrusy sweetness of Marie Mandarino biscuits with the tangy freshness of lemon. Perfect for a warm day or a gentle pick-me-up.
Ingredients:
- 4 Marie Mandarino biscuits
- 1 medium lemon
- 1 liter of cold water
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Mint leaves or lemon slices (for garnish, optional)
- Sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, stevia, etc.) to taste (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Lemon Water:
- Squeeze the juice from the lemon into the liter of cold water.
- Stir well.
- Soften the Biscuits:
- Place the Marie Mandarino biscuits in a bowl.
- Pour a small amount of the lemon water over the biscuits, just enough to soften them. Let them sit for a minute or two.
- Blend the Biscuits:
- Transfer the softened biscuits and the remaining lemon water into a blender.
- Blend until the biscuits are completely broken down and the mixture is smooth.
- Strain (Optional):
- If you prefer a very smooth drink, you can strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any small biscuit particles.
- Adjust Sweetness (Optional):
- Taste the lemon water. If you prefer it sweeter, add your sweetener of choice and stir until dissolved.
- Chill and Serve:
- Pour the Marie Mandarino lemon water into glasses filled with ice.
- Garnish with mint leaves or lemon slices, if desired.
- Enjoy immediately.
