INGREDENT
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
- 4 slices of cheddar or American cheese (cut in half)
- 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
- Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Place half a slice of cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
- Lay a sausage link on top of the cheese, then roll up the dough from the wide end to the narrow tip, wrapping the sausage inside.
- Optional: Beat the egg and brush the tops of each roll for a golden finish.
- Place the rolls on the baking sheet, seam side down.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
