- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until fully browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spoon a small amount of the cooked sausage onto each crescent roll triangle. If desired, sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onions on top of the sausage.
- Roll up each crescent triangle, starting from the wide end, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake according to the package directions for the crescent rolls (usually around 12-15 minutes or until golden brown).
- Serve warm and enjoy!
