Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 cooked breakfast sausage links (pork, turkey, or chicken)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese (cut in half) or shredded cheese
- 2 large eggs (optional, for egg wash or scrambling)
- Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray. - Prepare the Dough:
Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. - Add Fillings:
Place half a slice of cheese or a tablespoon of shredded cheese on the wide end of each triangle. Top with a cooked sausage link. - Roll It Up:
Starting from the wide end, roll the dough around the sausage and cheese. Place each roll seam-side down on the baking sheet. - Optional Egg Wash:
Beat one egg and lightly brush over each roll for a golden, glossy finish. - Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. - Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ketchup, hot sauce, or syrup if desired.
