Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 cooked breakfast sausage links (pork, turkey, or chicken)
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese (cut in half) or shredded cheese
  • 2 large eggs (optional, for egg wash or scrambling)
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. Add Fillings:
    Place half a slice of cheese or a tablespoon of shredded cheese on the wide end of each triangle. Top with a cooked sausage link.
  4. Roll It Up:
    Starting from the wide end, roll the dough around the sausage and cheese. Place each roll seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Optional Egg Wash:
    Beat one egg and lightly brush over each roll for a golden, glossy finish.
  6. Bake:
    Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve:
