Ingredients
- 1 plain sponge cake (cut into slices) or 1 packet tea biscuits
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 2 bananas (sliced)
- 1 cup grapes (halved)
- 1 cup mango cubes (optional)
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup vanilla custard (prepared and cooled)
- ½ cup condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ½ cup fruit juice (for soaking cake, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the custard according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix whipped cream, condensed milk, and vanilla essence until smooth.
- In a serving dish, place a layer of cake slices or biscuits. Lightly soak with fruit juice if using cake.
- Add a layer of custard over the cake.
- Add a layer of mixed fruits evenly.
- Spread a layer of cream mixture on top.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
- Finish with cream and decorate with fresh fruits on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours before serving.
