Loaded Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

This cheesy, hearty casserole is a crowd-pleaser, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a potluck.  

Ingredients:

  • 30 ounces frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped  
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup  
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream  
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).  
  2. Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread tater tots in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Pour the beef mixture over the tater tots.
  6. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
