This cheesy, hearty casserole is a crowd-pleaser, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a potluck.
Ingredients:
- 30 ounces frozen tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread tater tots in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the beef mixture over the tater tots.
- Top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
