Lemon Garlic Detox Drink Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  • 2 whole lemons (preferably organic)
  • 3 cups (750 ml) filtered water
  • 1–2 tablespoons raw honey (optional, for taste)
  • 1 small piece (1-inch) fresh ginger (optional, for extra benefits)

Instructions

  1. Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them into slices (keep the peel).
  2. In a blender, combine the lemon slices, crushed garlic, and ginger (if using).
  3. Add the water and blend until well mixed.
  4. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  5. Pour into a glass jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator.
  6. Drink 1/2 cup on an empty stomach in the morning and another 1/2 cup before bed for 3 days.
