- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (21 oz) lemon pie filling
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Optional: powdered sugar for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the softened cream cheese evenly at the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the lemon pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly on top of the lemon filling.
- Drizzle melted butter over the dry cake mix.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
- Optional: dust with powdered sugar before serving.
