Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 cup olive oil (or coconut oil)
- 1 small glass jar with lid
- Optional: 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (for added anti-inflammatory benefits)
Instructions
- Crush the Cloves:
Slightly crush the cloves using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon to release their natural oils. - Infuse the Oil:
Place the crushed cloves in a clean, dry glass jar. Pour the olive oil (or coconut oil) over the cloves, ensuring they are fully submerged. - Heat Gently:
Close the jar with a lid and place it in a warm area (like a sunny windowsill) for 7–10 days. Shake the jar gently once a day. Alternative Method (Quick): Heat the mixture on low heat in a pan for 10 minutes. Do not boil. Let it cool and strain. - Strain and Store:
After infusion, strain the oil using a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a clean jar or bottle. Store in a cool, dark place.
How to Use:
- Warm a small amount of clove oil slightly before use.
- Gently massage the oil onto affected legs, joints, or varicose veins.
- Use 2 times a day – in the morning and before bedtime.
Benefits:
- Clove oil helps reduce inflammation and pain.
- Improves blood circulation and helps ease muscle stiffness.
- Can offer relief from arthritis, rheumatism, varicose veins, and leg pain.
