- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round or loaf pan. - Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth. - Add Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined (don’t overmix). - Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve:
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar or serve with fruit, whipped cream, or caramel sauce if desired.
