Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (250ml) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups (950ml) mashed potatoes (freshly made or leftovers)
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter (for greasing)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium-sized casserole dish with butter.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
