Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon ghee (optional, for extra flavor)
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, or cashews)
- Extra shredded coconut (for rolling)
Instructions
- Heat a pan over low-medium heat and add the shredded coconut. Dry roast for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add condensed milk and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in cardamom powder, ghee (if using), and chopped nuts. Mix thoroughly.
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly until itโs safe to handle.
- Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small balls (ladoos).
- Roll each ladoo in extra shredded coconut for a beautiful finish.
- Let them set for a few minutes, then enjoy!
