Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up better.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil (or melted butter), garlic powder, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the scallops in the seasoning mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overlapping to allow even cooking.
- Air fry the scallops for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through. They should be golden and slightly crispy on the outside.
- Remove the scallops from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley.
