Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter for frying
Instructions
- Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, eggs, diced ham, shredded cheese, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan, flatten slightly to form patties.
- Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with sour cream or your favorite dip!
