- 1 cup ground coffee (your favorite roast)
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves (or 3–4 whole cloves per cup if using a coffee pot)
- Optional:
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp brown sugar or honey (for sweetness)
- Milk or cream, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your coffee:
Brew 1 cup of coffee as you normally would—using a drip machine, French press, or pour-over. - Add the cloves:
- If using ground cloves, stir them directly into the ground coffee before brewing.
- If using whole cloves, add them to the water while it brews (great for French press or stovetop methods).
- Optional enhancements:
Add cinnamon or a sweetener if desired to balance the strong, spicy flavor of the cloves. - Serve:
Pour into your favorite mug, add milk or cream if you like, and enjoy!
