Ingredients
- 2 cups milk (preferably whole milk for creaminess)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup mixed fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, bananas – diced)
- Optional: a pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together the milk, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency (about 3–5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in the honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract.
- Let the mixture cool slightly, then fold in the diced fruits.
- Pour into serving cups or bowls and chill for 15–30 minutes (optional, but refreshing).
- Serve immediately for a warm dessert or chilled for a cool, creamy treat.
Tip: You can layer the pudding and fruits in clear glasses for a pretty presentation!
