Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups (480 ml) milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Crushed cookies or graham crackers (optional topping)
- Banana slices or whipped cream for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the bananas, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract (if using). Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan. Add cornstarch and whisk until fully dissolved.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Cook while stirring constantly until the mixture thickens (about 3–5 minutes).
- Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour into serving bowls or cups.
- Garnish with extra banana slices, whipped cream, or crushed cookies if desired.
- Chill in the fridge for 15–30 minutes or enjoy it warm!
