- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups milk (any type: whole, almond, oat, etc.)
- 2 tbsp honey or sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (for a thicker texture)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the bananas and milk. Blend until smooth.
- If you prefer a thicker consistency, mix cornstarch with a little milk until dissolved, then add it to the blender.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 3 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in honey/sugar and vanilla extract (if using).
- Pour into serving cups and let it cool. You can refrigerate for a chilled version.
