Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons rice (preferably white or jasmine rice)
- 1 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel
- 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for extra hydration)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for antibacterial properties)
Instructions
- Cook the Rice:
Boil the rice in water until it becomes very soft. Drain it, saving a little of the rice water if you like (it’s great as a toner). - Mash the Rice:
Using a fork or spoon, mash the soft rice into a smooth paste. You can also use a blender for a finer texture. - Add Aloe Vera Gel:
Mix the mashed rice with aloe vera gel. Stir well until it becomes a creamy, smooth consistency. - Optional Add-ins:
For added benefits, stir in milk (for hydration and glow) and honey (for soothing and antibacterial effects). - Apply the Mask:
Apply the mixture to a clean, dry face. Avoid the eye area. Leave it on for 15–20 minutes. - Rinse Off:
Rinse gently with warm water and pat dry. Use the leftover rice water as a toner if desired.
Tips:
- Use 2–3 times per week for best results.
- Store any leftover mask in the fridge for up to 2 days.
