- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in the shredded cheese and any optional seasonings.
- In another bowl, beat the egg, then mix in the milk and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until golden on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve warm with butter, or enjoy as-is for a cheesy, savory breakfast treat!
