Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh rosemary leaves (or 2 tbsp dried rosemary)
- 1 cup distilled water
- 1 tsp honey (optional, for taste if used as tea)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a small saucepan.
- Add rosemary leaves and reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for about 5–10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a cup or glass container.
- If drinking as tea, add honey for sweetness.
- For eye comfort (external use only), let the rosemary water cool completely, soak a clean cotton pad, and place it gently over closed eyelids for 5–10 minutes.
- Repeat once or twice daily.
⚠ Important:
- This is not a substitute for medical treatment. Always consult an eye specialist before using any home remedy for cataracts or eye inflammation.
- Never put rosemary essential oil or undiluted rosemary extract directly in the eyes — it can cause irritation.
- If you experience burning, redness, or discomfort, stop use immediately.
If you like, I can also give you a stronger, concentrated rosemary infusion method that’s used in some traditional remedies for vision. Would you like me to prepare that?
