Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (extra virgin)
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1 cup of warm water
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- A handful of spinach (rich in fiber and detoxifying)
- 1 cucumber (hydrating and supports liver function)
- 1/2 cup of parsley (supports kidney and liver detox)
- A few mint leaves (soothing for the digestive system)
Instructions
- Start by boiling 1 cup of water and let it cool slightly.
- In a blender, combine the spinach, cucumber, parsley, mint leaves, and warm water. Blend until smooth.
- Add in the turmeric, ginger powder, lemon juice, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper. Blend again for about 10 seconds.
- Pour into a glass and drink it first thing in the morning for 3 consecutive days.
- For best results, follow this detox with a balanced, whole-food-based diet, and drink plenty of water throughout the day to flush out toxins.
