Under an act of the AJ&K Legislative Assembly passed in 2001, the AJ&K IT Board came into existence. The Board’s role is to regulate, advise on, and oversee all IT projects within AJ&K.
The IT Board is a subset of the larger Master Implementation Plan Infrastructure Setup task. MIP’s primary goals are to increase IT mass literacy, facilitate e-Governance, and foster software development in AJ&K.
As a result of its history of oppression, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) may now seize control of its own fate thanks to the development of information technology. The goal of GoAJK’s Vision 2025 is for AJ&K to develop into a highly educated, affluent, and self-sufficient state, and this tool will help get them there.
