Imad Wasim and Azam Khan, both from Pakistan, have decided to play for the Seattle Orcas in the first season of the Major League Cricket (MLC).
Azam and Imad have been two of the most wanted players in franchise T20 games all over the world. Since neither player is centrally signed to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), they are likely to play in the future league in the USA as well.
Both players are said to have joined the Seattle Orcas, which is owned by GMR Group, which also owns a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) called the Delhi Capitals.

Also, two other Pakistani players with central contracts are in talks with the MLC, but their involvement in the event rests on the PCB’s approval.
Earlier, MLC asked the PCB to let players from the national team join the league. PCB is said to have asked for a USD 25,000 fee if any national player is chosen in the MLC draft. Once the duty is met, the final decision about whether or not Pakistani players can join the league will be made.
Marcus Stoinis, Quinton de Kock, Wanindu Hasaranga, Anrich Nortje, and Glenn Phillips are just some of the well-known T20 players that MLC has already signed from abroad.
Jason Roy of England has also stated that he will play in the league. This is because he has chosen to end his deal with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
