Instructions
- Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan.
- Cover the eggs with cold water, about 1 inch above the eggs.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once the water reaches a rolling boil, turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let the eggs sit for 9–12 minutes (depending on desired doneness).
- Carefully drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath for at least 5 minutes.
- Peel and enjoy!
