Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 cup (240 ml) water (or coconut water)
- Juice of ½ lemon (or lime)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions
- Add the chia seeds to the water. Stir well to prevent clumping.
- Let the mixture sit for at least 10–15 minutes (or up to an hour) until the chia seeds swell and form a gel-like texture.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and sweetener if using. Stir again to combine.
- Give it a good shake or stir before drinking — the seeds tend to settle.
- Drink once daily, preferably in the morning, for the best results.
