Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 cup hot water
- ½ cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla essence. Mix well to make a smooth batter.
- Grease the slow cooker with butter or oil.
- Pour the batter into the slow cooker evenly.
- In another bowl, mix brown sugar and a little cocoa powder, then sprinkle it over the batter.
- Slowly pour hot water on top (do not mix).
- Cover and cook on High for 2–2.5 hours or Low for 4 hours.
- Check when the top is set and sauce is thick at the bottom.
- Turn off and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
