DESCRIPTION

INGREDIENTS
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 3 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp warm water
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–7 minutes until foamy.
- Add egg, melted butter, salt, and warm water. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead into a soft dough.
- Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place in a greased baking pan and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and brush with butter for extra softness.
