  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the egg, softened butter, and the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel or plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 1½ hours or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough, then shape it into a loaf or divide it into rolls.
  6. Place in a greased loaf pan or baking tray. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes until puffy.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
