Instructions
- Wash the ginger root thoroughly and peel it if desired.
- Slice the ginger into thin pieces.
- In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into a mug.
- Add honey and lemon juice if you like.
- Drink warm, once or twice a day.
